Yesterday I had been to the local chain of super stores here which is called as Carrefour. This is a place where you get almost anything and everything from tv/computer to vegetables, fruits, to your clothes and mops.
While in the parking lot I could see some change which I had not seen earlier. I could see lots of shopping trolleys here and there scattered. I thought may be coming from US which is much more orderly place I am making up things.
When we went inside, I was waiting to take the trolley out with a one ringett coin. This shopping complex has a unique way of having all the trolleys lined up one behind the other connected with a chain. once you put an one ringget coin you can take out the trolley. when you finally finish the shopping and if you keep the trolley next to an existing one and connect it your one ringett can be taken out.
My husband said that the one ringett coin has been taken out of circulation by the Govt. and only an one ringett note will be there and no more coins. So we can just take the trolley without the need to put in the coin.
Now it dawned on me why I saw so many trolleys here and there at the parking lot. The human tendency!!! The people who used to meticulouly keep the trolleys in the place designated for them so that they can take out their one ringett, no longer bothered to keep the trolley in the designated place.
But I have to put it in records that Americans still meticulously keep the trolleys in the designated place without any of the coin system. We Asians have to learn to become real developed (country) I suppose.

Is there a racial angle to this anarchy?Asians vs caucasians?Or is it like kids, we have got spoilt by lack of rules and systems; and might is right phenomenon?
remember a friend of ours telling us about the way a typical american and a typical Indian will behave in a particular situation. A public servant was giving a lecture on traffic rules and need to follow them meticulously.It was a very clear and simple instruction not leaving any room for ambiguity. At the end of the lecture, only one hand shot up.that of an Indian. He wanted to know what if it is not followed?

You talk about shopping trolleys and blah blah developed. Organsed?maybe, developed? certainly not. What is being developed?
While the infrastructure might be 'developed' and thou the people might be trained to put trolleys in the right place, they remain imbeciles, as is the case with Malaysia and America as well , trolley or no trolley, with or without an insignificant 1 ringitt coin.
When will people realize that it is the mind one has to work with to change attitudes from a young age to really go towards development.
Building flyovers/tall buildings/beautiful roads is just superficial development.
But my view remains that most human beings are parasites and will be soon wiped out by forces of nature, evolving strains of viruses, ice ages, and some of the bacteria i am quantifying.
First things first ... hey vinwe ... dats my theory you stole. I have it published in Nature 2005, Apr issue. Next time cite me, else my lawyer would speak to ya.
Anyways, though we would evolve and get wiped out ... there is a widely acknowledged difference in the culture/mindset of west/east. I am not sure who is more organized or developed ... it all keeps a changing ... looking back at the dark ages and all.
As for the trollies ... stop making them ... carry one item at a time and walk it to your house (not car) ... will help u get in shape and reduce pollution ..
The ice age theory of Nature fighting back is right outta my brain's gyri & sulci, so stop claiming it.
And trolley is the second most used 4 wheeler in the planet(Useless piece of information i remembered from Discovery channel).
And what i was saying was that the human race is still a primitive ape form. The dolphins have evolved far better than us.
